“Always that same LSD story, you’ve all seen it
Young man on acid,
Thought he could fly,
Jumped out of a building,
What a tragedy”
There’s a hole in my room
When it gets dark
The pigeons fly through
Delivering to me
The news of the world
In plastic bottles
Of drank Malibu
Oh, they don’t care about the rhythm
(How about the rhythm?)
Oh, they don’t care about the beat of my heart
(Beat of my heart)
Birdman, open your wings
Now
And you’ll be free
And word-chasing
Is all I ever do
For words are escapees
From the prison of my mind
They’re running away
Through the hole in my room
But when it gets dark
My pigeons bring them back
Oh, they don’t care about the rhythm
(How about the rhythm?)
Oh, they don’t care about the beat of my heart
(Beat of my heart)
Birdman, open your wings
Now
And you’ll be free
“Today a young man on acid realized
That all matter is merely energy condensed
To a slow vibration.
That we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively.
There is no such thing as death,
Life is only a dream
And we are the imagination of ourselves.
Here’s Tsob with the Weather.”
I play with words all the time
What else is there left to play with?
I play with words all the time
What else is there left to play with?

Bill Hicks "Positive drug story" sampled from his 1993 “Revelations” performance in London. Please let us be. Pretty please.
Have only listened to the first three tracks so far. Somehow the indie/grunge/funereal/doom elements meld together well. Well worth a listen! 😁
Update - couldn't stop listening. No weak tracks. Music that won't stand still, but holds up well throughout. My favourite non-electronic release for some time. Thanks so much for the code! 😎 Rinchen Choesang
Merci Déhà for the download code. Lots of bands use these ingredients – pretty female vocals over doomy guitars always sounds good, but usually that's where the ideas run out. That isn't the case here. Each song is packed with ideas and evolutions, genres and references it's boring to list but not at all to listen to. A pleasure to have been introduced to this. Luke
The music is just outstanding and the lyrics go in all kinds of directions. I have enjoyed listening to this album so many times already. Wonderful music. gregnecastro
